Courses we offer at Dawud Academy

Quran recitation course

Beginner Level: Students learn the Arabic alphabet with proper pronunciation, focusing on light and heavy letters. They advance to reading words and sentences, mastering smooth transitions between words. By the end, they can read Arabic independently, including Quranic text. Duration: 4-6 months depending on ability. Recommended for children 3-6 years: 20-minute sessions, 4 days a week; 7+ years: 30-minute sessions.

Intermediate Level: Students start reading the Quran, learning stop signs, correct stops, and the timing of elongation (Madd). By the end, they read fluently with Tajweed rules.

Advanced Level: Students delve into Tajweed theory, studying letter characteristics and mastering application across the Quran. By the end, they recognize and apply all Tajweed rules easily.

Students have flexibility in choosing class duration and frequency based on their availability.

Memorization Course

You can discuss your Quran memorization goals with your teacher, whether it’s specific suras or the entire Quran to become a Hafiz. The teacher will develop a personalized plan based on your schedule and preferences. If you’re enrolling your child to memorize the Quran from a young age, they can begin with the 30th Juz’ and work towards the 1st Juz’ at their own pace, ensuring a gradual and effective learning process tailored to their needs.

Islamic study course

General Course: In this program, the teacher systematically covers all areas of Islamic studies, adapting the material to the student’s level and progressing gradually.

Specific Course: This option allows students to focus on particular areas of Islamic sciences, such as Hadith, Aqeedah (creed), Jurisprudence, Islamic history, the lives of the Sahabah (Prophet’s companions), or the biographies of prophets.
