Tahajjud is one of the most important optional prayers in Islam. It is also known as Qiyam Al-Lail, the prayer of the night, and is one of the most popular optional prayers among Muslims.
There are several reasons associated with its popularity and blessings. First and foremost, it is mentioned in the Quran as a prayer that will glorify one’s status in the afterworld.
In Surah Al-Isran Verse 79, Allah says, And rise at the last part of the night, offering additional prayers, so your Lord may raise you to a station of praise.
The significance of Tahajjud Salah can also be seen in several Hadiths. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) prayed to Tahajjud regularly and advised others to do so. In a Hadith, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that Tahajjud is the best Salah after the prescribed five Salahs.
This article is not about the significance of Tahajjud but something related to it. We will discuss the Tahajjud dua that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to recite when he offered Tahajjud prayer. We will also discuss the power of Tahajjud and the best time to offer it.
